Agent Concentration

Fire Suppression
Also known asDesign concentration

Agent Concentration is the proportion of suppression agent, by volume, achieved in a protected space, which must reach the design level needed to extinguish fire while staying within limits safe for occupants. In data centers it is calculated from room volume and agent quantity, verified against standards such as NFPA 2001, and sustained through the required hold time.
