Abort Switch

Fire Suppression
Also known asSuppression abort switch

An Abort Switch is a manually operated control that, when held or activated during the pre-discharge countdown, delays or halts the release of a fire-suppression agent. In data centers it lets trained staff who confirm a false alarm prevent an unnecessary and costly agent discharge, while safeguards ensure suppression still operates if a genuine fire is confirmed.
