Post-Tensioned Slab

Concrete, Steel & Building Shell
Also known asPT SlabPost-Tensioned Concrete Slab

A Post-Tensioned Slab is a concrete slab in which high-strength tendons are tensioned after the concrete has cured, compressing it to increase span, reduce thickness and control cracking and deflection. In data centers post-tensioned slabs can provide efficient long-span floors, though tendon positions must be recorded and respected when core-drilling for future services.
