Remote Hands is an on-site technical service in which the colocation provider's staff perform basic physical tasks on a customer's equipment on request, such as power-cycling a device, checking indicator lights, swapping tapes or reseating cables. It lets customers avoid travel to the site for routine actions, and is usually billed by the incident or in time increments under a defined response SLA.
