A Refrigerant Condenser is the heat exchanger in a refrigeration circuit where high-pressure refrigerant vapor gives up heat and condenses to liquid, rejecting the absorbed load to air or water. Air-cooled condensers use fans and finned coils, while water-cooled versions transfer heat to a condenser-water loop and cooling tower. In data centers it is the outdoor heat-rejection stage of DX and chiller systems.
