Owner-Furnished Equipment (OFE) is equipment purchased and supplied directly by the owner rather than by the contractor, often for critical, standardised or long-lead items. In data centers it lets owners control selection and procurement of key plant such as servers, UPS or generators, while contracts must clearly define delivery, storage, installation responsibility and interface coordination.
