Lime Stabilization is a soil-treatment method in which lime is mixed into clay-rich soils to reduce plasticity and moisture, and to increase strength and workability through chemical reaction. It is used to make cohesive, wet or expansive soils suitable as a construction platform, and in data-center earthworks it improves subgrades for slabs, foundations and access roads.
