A Dirt Separator removes suspended particulate such as sludge, rust and debris from circulating water, collecting it in a chamber for periodic draining. Cleaner water protects pumps, valves, heat exchangers and control components from wear and fouling. In data centers dirt separators, often combined with air separators, help maintain hydronic system reliability and heat-transfer performance.
