Controlled Document

Documentation & Knowledge Base
Also known asdocument controlcontrolled copy

A controlled document is a formally managed record whose creation, review, approval, distribution, and revision follow a defined document control process. Each version carries identifiers, an owner, and an approval trail so that only current, authorized copies are in use. Data center management systems apply document control to policies, procedures, drawings, and method statements to ensure staff always work from the correct version.
