COBie (Construction Operations Building Information Exchange) is a structured, spreadsheet-based schema for delivering asset data, such as equipment identities, locations, attributes and warranties, from design and construction into facilities management. It is captured progressively in the BIM model. On data centers COBie hands over a clean asset register for the DCIM and maintenance systems, linking each installed component to its operational and lifecycle information.
