High Performance Computing (HPC) is the use of clustered, tightly interconnected servers to solve large-scale computational problems by running them in parallel. In data centers HPC serves scientific simulation, modeling, analytics and increasingly AI, and drives high rack densities, fast interconnects and advanced cooling. Performance is often measured in floating-point operations per second.
