An Adiabatic Cooler is a dry cooler enhanced with evaporative pre-cooling that wets or humidifies the incoming air to lower its temperature toward the wet-bulb during hot periods. In data centers it combines the low water use of dry coolers with extra capacity when needed, improving efficiency and extending free-cooling hours. Water is used only when ambient conditions require it.
